So the last shoot Rich and I did was nothing but pure fun....We had been wanting to test out
some new tricks/styles of shooting we had learned. Our model was a great friend of mine, almost
like a lil sister! I had chosen her for two reasons (1. She is pretty! 2. She is not shy and would be
easily comfortable in front of the camera!) So with that said this particular shoot went by with
ease. Any who back to the shoot! We took our model and our gear to a beautiful place in our
town known as the (Granite Dells) where there are two lakes and beautiful granite rock
formations....Which leads to really amazing lighting around sunset as well as breathe taking
shadows! We began the shoot around 4:30pm just before sunset, we started in little caverns
away from the lakes and got a few really beautiful shoots. But when the sunset became
extremely beautiful, we packed up and headed for the long grass on the lake shore! Now these
where the (money makers) the shoots we got at this location were nothing short of cover model
material! (No joke!) We used grid spots and soft boxes for lighting, and at first it was just Rich
shooting with his Canon Eos 5D! But at the end of the shoot we where both shooting the model,
Rich still using his 5D and I was using his Canon 40D....That was fun I did ok he said but I need
to learn how to (Frame the model so to speak) Rule of 3'S.....O I'm a learning! Till the next
shoot...I say good shooting to you all!!!
